The Final Chapter: October 2022 to March 2026

We conclude this journey with our heads held high and hearts full of pride. Over the course of our three and a half year story, we had the immense honour of serving 6,143 tables in the heart of Amsterdam.

In that time, we shared over 7,500 litres of South African wine and countless memories with a community that truly became our family.

Inspired by the vibrant culinary trends of our home, we crafted a distinctive fusion by blending South American flavours with traditional South African techniques and tastes.

Our globally inspired tasting menus were always complemented by a curated selection of South African wines, showcasing the very best vineyards from the region.

Taking inspiration from South Africa’s most celebrated restaurants like The Pot Luck Club, La Colombe, and The Test Kitchen, we brought a unique blend of expertise and passion to every plate.

Our service style reflected exactly who we are: warm, welcoming, and relaxed, yet always professional.

Due to the intimate size of our restaurant, we are unable to accommodate small children or animals. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

Please note: we require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for any allergies or dietary requirements, preferably at the time of booking. For same-day reservations, any allergies or requirements must be communicated prior to arrival. Failure to provide this information may incur a charge of €10 per course requiring adjustment.
